Dear Supreme Master Ching Hai,

We are a group of Aulacese people living far from our homeland as refugees in Montreal, Canada, one of the most humanitarian nations in the world. We lead contented lives in this country; however, we always have fond memories of our motherland, especially during the Aulacese New Year. We often receive immediate help from You when our families have problems or experience a disaster, or during other times of trouble. Many of us have listened to Your lectures on the Quan Yin Method, which have given us a peaceful and carefree life. We appreciate the precious help we have received spiritually and materially from You.

From Your many videotapes, photos, and newspaper and other media reports, we have learned about Your relief activities and know that with Your compassionate, generous heart, You have helped the needy, the less fortunate, and victims of natural disasters, floods, and incurable diseases everywhere on this planet, especially in Au Lac.

Today in the festive spirit of welcoming in the Year of the Horse, we have invited each other to the celebrations and gathered together at the exhibition booth that Your representatives have set up to spread the Quan Yin Method, reminding people to do good and avoid bad deeds. Each of us has received a present from You to elevate the New Year joy and happiness in our families, and to dissipate somewhat our sadness over living in a strange land.

In the New Year of the Horse, we sincerely pray to God to bless You, so that You may grace this Earth longer, be healthy and happy and continue to deliver humankind from disasters.
