While
visiting my mother recently at her home in a Christian community,
I had the opportunity to make sweets for a celebration. As I began
to cook, a crowd of children came over to help me, and we had a lot
of fun making donuts with brightly colored icings.
Among
the children was a six-year-old girl who took charge of shaping the
sweets. Later that night, as we gathered around an open fire, the
girl sat next to me and we talked about what we had made. She told
me that, actually, she had done nothing, as Jesus was within us at
all times, and it was He who did everything.
I
was really surprised and touched by the girl's words, and felt blessed
by how Master cares for me, and how She chooses others to teach me.
I had a strong feeling that Master was by my side, showing me that
Truth is like a stream, vibrant and alive, in the hearts of the pure,
flowing on its course to touch many along its way.
