Santa
Fe, Argentina, April 29, 2004
To: The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association,
Having
experienced a year of terrible flooding that affected the
entire population of Santa Fe, we are most grateful for
the compassionate aid You rendered us, which made it possible
for our nursery school to remain in operation.
And,
thanks to the organized assistance of many others, we are
now working and receiving forty-five children ranging from
one-and-a half months to four years of age. Most of these
youngsters are in great need of care as their mothers have
to leave them with us while they work.
The
teachers and personnel here also wish to mention the positive
lessons in selfless service that have emerged from loving
our neighbors, giving without expecting any reward, selfless
commitment, and remembering those who gave hours of their
lives for others while offering a smile, listening and giving
what they had. For all this we say: Thank you very much!
It
is vitally important for us to be in this place today working
with the children. For this reason, we thank you from the
bottom of our hearts for all the help you provided us.
