Your Excellency
Supreme Master Ching Hai
Honorable Master,
On behalf of the people and community of Higher Talamanca, Bribri, Costa
Rica, we wish to convey our sincere gratitude from the bottom of our
hearts for the food and other aid that You provided us, which arrived
at the moment when we most needed that blessing.
It is also our wish that the Great Spirit protect
You and fill You with many blessings and that Your kind heart, which
You have shared with us, will continue to grow.
In our moments of affliction and suffering we
did not expect miracles of kindness coming from a great, special and
spiritual person such as You, but we have learned and understood that
the Great Spirit has angels here on earth. Our prayers filled with tears
of need traveled thousands of miles to be heard at a great distance,
and only a very spiritual being full of kindness such as You would respond
in such a loving and charitable way.
Honorable Majesty, Your wonderful gesture of
love will remain forever in our hearts and spirits, in our people and
in our community, and we will always be grateful to you as a highly
spiritual person. We therefore hope to live to see the great magical
day when we can meet you and thank you personally.
We would like to invite You to visit our land,
our culture, our language and our spirituality that was inherited from
our ancestors, as we are natives of this country and still follow the
culture of our grandparents regarding the road to spirituality.
We cannot help but mention the great spirit of
love and commitment expressed by Your disciples from the Los Angeles
Meditation Center in California, the United States, among them, the
Aulacese man, the Chinese man and the Mexican lady, and those from our
country of the International Meditation Center. To all of them we express
our gratitude and congratulations for their great spirit of commitment
toward their compatriots, to whom they showed kindness, spirituality
and above all love.
In closing, we say “so long” as we want
to continue our ties of friendship, love and especially kindness, which
You have conveyed through Your disciples. To them and to You we wish
the fullest of blessings so that You may always continue on the path
of true spirituality that is translated into service to others. May
the Great Spirit always protect You. Amen and thank You.
