bar owner locked up his place at 2 A.M. and went home to sleep. After
he had been in bed only a few minutes, the phone rang. “What time
do you open in the morning?” an obviously inebriated man inquired.
The owner was so furious that he slammed down the receiver and went
back to sleep. But a few minutes later, there was another call, and
he heard the same voice asking the same question. Said the bar owner,
“Listen, I wouldn’t let a person in your condition come in the door!”
But the person at the other end said, “No! I don’t want in; I want
out!”
