[Auckland] Since last year, the fellow initiates in Auckland have tried various means to promote the Alternative Living Vegetarian Lifestyle, hoping that every household in the area would receive this loving message from God. They posted a big map of the city on the back wall of their meditation hall. After studying the numerous streets on the map, they knew that it would be a huge and challenging project. However, with Master’s blessing, the initiates overcame all the obstacles with courage and have been persistent in carrying out this noble work.

Halfway through the project, they received the joyous news that Supreme Master Television would be available online. They realized that God had bestowed a magnificent gift upon the whole world. Immediately they printed 300,000 copies of the Supreme Master Television flyer and started to hand it out together with the Alternative Living flyer.

After a year of diligent effort, the fellow initiates finally accomplished their goal on September 22, Golden Year 4 (2007), giving each household in the Auckland area a copy of the Alternative Living flyer. More than half of the houses had also received the Supreme Master Television flyer. When the project was completed, everyone felt so blissful and grateful to Master. Together, they had a picnic in a beautiful park to celebrate and further planned to hand out the Supreme Master Television flyer to the households that hadn’t received it yet.

When the fellow initiates started this project in May last year, it was the beginning of the cold and wet wintry season in New Zealand. There was a lot of rain as usual. But miraculously, each Saturday morning whenever they were ready to distribute flyers, the rain would stop. Everyone was deeply touched by Master’s meticulous loving care. They jokingly named this activity “Three in One,” because it not only brought benefit to others and themselves, but also provided a chance for them to get exercise and improve their health.

During the distribution, the initiates often saw people take the flyers from their mail boxes and read them thoroughly. Some even raised their thumb to praise the noble ideal in the messages. Many animals also showed their appreciation. One brother initiate mentioned: “Each time I told a barking dog that we were promoting animal protection, it would stop barking instantly and wag its tail to express its friendliness.”

One time a brother initiate forgot to bring his umbrella. When the weather suddenly changed and it started to rain, he anxiously looked at the sky and said: “Please don’t rain, the flyers will get wet.” Immediately, the heavy shower brought by a wind that came down 20 meters in front of him stopped. The brother initiate didn’t get wet at all and it didn’t rain again till he finished the distribution.

One sister initiate’s comments best described the feelings of the initiates: “While distributing the flyers, I always appreciated so much the beautiful scenery on the way. No matter if it was a tree, a flower, or mountains and sea, the white clouds in the blue sky, a bird flying in the heavens, every one of God’s creations is the most magnificent and deeply touched my heart. We often miss these amazing gifts in our daily lives. Through the flyer distribution, we had the opportunity to be grateful for and enjoy the love of the universe and its beauty.” Indeed we planned to bring God’s love to people through this activity, but in the end, it was us who received overwhelming love and blessing from God. No wonder Master always reminds us that “to be good to others is to be good to ourselves; to love others is to love ourselves.”

Thank You Master, You have taught us valuable lessons in so many different ways and given us the chance to participate in this meaningful work, bringing the bright and positive messages to every corner of the world.

In order to raise people’s awareness of Supreme Master Television, apart from handing out flyers in various parts of New Zealand, the fellow initiates from Auckland also put announcements in newspapers and magazines, on outdoor advertisement billboards, as well in the international airport. Although there were many obstacles in the beginning, all the barriers were removed one by one through Master’s loving guidance and blessings; thus it was easier to achieve the final goal.

.The Supreme Master Television announcement in Reader’s Digest and the most popular newspapers

Their initial effort included placing the announcement in the biggest newspaper in New Zealand, one of the most read magazines -- Reader’s Digest, and the most popular newspaper in Hamilton, the 3rd largest city on the North Island. They also decided to inform the public through large outdoor billboards at busy intersections. Due to Master’s blessings, they soon found a really good location with a lighting facility which lights up the board at night. The advertising agency also offered a huge discount for the monthly rental. The secretary of the company admired the Supreme Master Television programs so much that she volunteered to ensure the printing quality of the poster. The fellow initiates believe that Master’s beautiful photo will definitely attract the attention of passers-by and bring God’s loving message to more people.

Promoting Supreme Master Television in the Auckland airport

Recently their long-time wish has finally been granted, which is to install Supreme Master Television announcement posters in the Auckland International airport. A company that had an agreement with the advertising agency suddenly cancelled its contract, thus the local initiates were given two prominent spots. Currently one poster has already been put up in a light-box display, in front of the check-in area; another one will be placed facing the main entrance to the immigration gate. In addition, the fellow initiates were pleasantly surprised by the repeated discounts given by the advertising agency. Knowing that more travelers, their relatives and friends, as well as the airport working staff will have the chance to see this wonderful message, they all felt very blessed and happy.

Through the process of promoting Supreme Master Television, the Auckland initiates have learnt a valuable lesson, which is: When Master instructs us to do anything, no matter how difficult or how impossible it seems, we should just carry it out immediately, because it is the best time to do so. We should always have firm faith in the power of God, and do our work without the least hesitation!
