Being Master’s Extended Helping Arms

In response to the recent severe flood caused by intense rainfalls in Veracruz, our local Association members formed a relief team to bring urgent supplies and comfort to the displaced survivors. With a US$30,000 contribution from Supreme Master Ching Hai, the initiates acquired much-needed food and water supplies.
Upon arriving in Minatitlan on October 10, 2008, the relief team was welcomed with open arms by the Municipality, the DIF (Development and Integration of Family) and the Minatitlan Port Captain Headquarters. They were provided with motorboats, drivers and supportive staff who helped them load the supplies. For two days, they traveled through the Uxpanapan and Coatzacoalcos Rivers, bringing Master’s immense blessings to many of the communities. All families expressed their heartfelt joy and gratitude to Master for Her humanitarian aid. They felt very attracted to our Association’s magazines, the Alternative Living flyers and especially to Master’s picture. One lady walked up to the picture and kissed Master’s face, saying, “She is so beautiful, both inside and outside.” On October 18 and 19, the relief team again provided relief to about 19 affected communities in Las Choapas with the help of the local government. Throughout the relief work, the team members felt completely safe
and protected by God. Some of them didn’t even experience the
sea-sickness they usually had on water! They carried out the work
with gladness and are grateful for being Master’s extended helping
arms in this corner of the planet.
