Timely Fire Relief |
|
By Johannesburg News Group (Originally
in English) |
Recently, after fires devastated several areas throughout South Africa, initiates from the Johannesburg Center departed to the affected areas with Master’s generous contribution of US$15,000.
They worked with the local Red Cross and reached areas in Kwa-Zulu
Natal on September 11 2008. As soon as they arrived, they went about
buying basic necessities like food, clothing and blankets and distributed
them to the affected families near Richard Bay. Next, they provided
aid in Durban, where some 4,000 people had lost their homes to raging
fires. The recipients were extremely touched by Master’s loving
care and the timely help they received.
