[Wonju] About 170 army officers stationed at a military base in Kangwon Province attended a mind-opening lecture on “Eating Habits and the Environment” organized by Wonju initiates on October 10, Golden Year 5 (2008). The vegetarian diet concept was reinforced with SOS and AL flyers, video clips on global warming and a delicious treat of veggie sandwiches. Let’s hope these protectors of peace will soon become vanguards of Mother Earth!

[Busan] On October 12, the Busan initiates held a video lecture to convey Master's loving message on the vegetarian diet and global warming at Changwon Exhibition Convention Center. The audience from all over the region watched Master's video in earnest. After the lecture, 21 people decided to learn the Convenient Method of meditation. Among them was an elderly blind woman accompanied by an elderly man who had a leg problem. Even with aged physical bodies, their wholesome spirit allowed them to perceive the truth. All attendees were thankful for the delicious veggie lunch boxes whole-heartedly prepared by our fellow initiates. Through this event, fellow initiates could feel Master's merciful love and arrangement. They wished that more citizens in Changwon will be uplifted spiritually and join the vegetarian sainthood!
