Join Global Initiatives on Environmental Protection
By Santiago News Group (Originally in Spanish)
Eight days later, at the “Earth Hour” worldwide
event, the Environment Minister, Ms. Ana Lya Uriarte, said, “Chile
will join this global initiative and other initiatives to inspire people
to be more environmentally conscious, easing the burden on our planet,
and to heighten the public’s awareness about global warming.”
The lights in several government buildings throughout Chile were turned
off. Our Association members again handed out more flyers and took the
opportunity to explain to the Minister and other people that meat is the
number one cause of the warming of our planet. They invited them to watch
Supreme Master TV’s vast array of well-researched programs on climate
change, and to attend their informative global warming seminars.
