Shortly
before the start of Master's lecture tour in the Middle East and Africa,
fellow initiates participated in the biannual Oslo Spiritual Fair. At
the venue, our booth was the focus of attention. Opposite it, was a
booth introducing Ananda Yoga but whose staff members strongly supported
Master's teachings. They even recommended the Quan Yin Method to spectators
by pointing to us and saying, "This is superb!" One staff
member came over to watch Master's videos at every opportunity. Once,
after viewing photos of Master wearing a wide variety of clothing, he
said with deep feeling, "An Enlightened Master has to do this in
order to shatter people's attachments to outer appearances." A
staff member from another booth, ecstatic when she realized that Master
was the incarnation of God, wanted very much to practice the Quan Yin
Method.
Two
seminars were held to explain the Quan Yin Method of meditation, while
videotapes of Master's lectures played on the big screen throughout
the exhibition period.
