A Feast of Truth and Beauty in an Ancient Spiritual Land

Savory vegetarian cuisine including Thai style sweets, exotic international foods and delightfully carved fruit.

[Bangkok] On Sunday, December 15, 2002, local initiates and a visiting Quan Yin messenger held a video seminar and an exhibition of Master's paintings at the Bangkok Center to bring Master's Heavenly message of Truth and beauty to the Thai people and immerse the country in spiritual harmony.

Thai practitioners were greatly excited about participating in an event infused with Master's loving blessings. The seminar featured a beautiful display of Master's paintings in a gallery-like setting on the first floor of the Bangkok Center, which was decorated with numerous colorful floral bouquets and illuminated with subtle overhead lighting. In addition, guests enjoyed an array of exquisitely prepared international vegetarian foods, served on decorative ceramic plates. The visitors were thrilled with this warm, cheerful welcome and lingered to savor the delicacies and admire Master's paintings, as the initiates present sensed their deep admiration and appreciation of Master's Heavenly talent.

Afterwards, the guests proceeded to a video seminar presenting Master's teachings. Then, for almost an hour, the Quan Yin messenger answered the audience members' enthusiastic questions. Half of the guests stayed on to learn the Convenient Method and many registered for initiation. This occasion was the first time that such a large number had applied for the Convenient Method in Bangkok, and many expressed a sincere desire to gain eternal liberation and study more of Master's teachings. We ended the seminar with a tasty international dinner that again made the guests feel warm and comfortable. We thank Master for making this first video seminar at the Bangkok Center so successful.

[Bangkok] In view of the turbulent world situation, fellow practitioners in Thailand recently held a two-day year-end retreat to pray for world peace. Initiates came from all over the country to a meditation center 80km from Bangkok to meditate together and pray for a more beautiful world in the coming year.

During the retreat, some were moved to tears while watching Master's videotape "Appreciate the Value of Initiation." But the audience members often burst into cheerful laughter while watching Master's humorous discourse at the 2000 retreat in Young Dong, South Korea. Master's divine power touched the depths of their souls and Her infinite love melted many stubborn hearts. Two days passed quickly and the retreat was soon over, as Master's love again filled the hearts of Thai fellow initiates, who in turn hope to share their contentment and bliss with people still in suffering around the world.
