A Retreat in Honor of Our Great Mother

[Bangkok] August 12 of each year is Mother’s Day in Thailand. This year, Thai initiates held a retreat from August 9-10, 2003 at an initiate’s home in Chachoengsao Province to celebrate their “spiritual” Mother’s Day.

Realizing that Master is like our great Mother on the spiritual path, a large number of local initiates attended the event to honor Her and pray for world peace. Our meditation sessions featured the playing of Master’s melodic Buddha’s Chanting tape. Thus the meditation room was continuously filled with Master’s blessing power! The participants also felt our Mother’s love through watching Her videotapes.

At the end of the last session, we took a photo together and each person received blessed food. Due to the great blessing and spiritual benefit everyone felt from the retreat, we decided to hold another one next month.
