Master's Wonders

Around 7:30 AM on July 11, 2004, three would-be initiates and I were watching a DVD of Master's 1999 lecture at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Cape Town, South Africa. I was boiling some water on the stove at the time, and had turned on the kitchen ventilation fan.

A short while later, a neighbor visited my home looking baffled and said, "This is strange! There's a power outage in the area and I can't use my machine to compress dough to make noodles. So why is your ventilation fan still running?"

'The power supply to your house is for industrial use and mine is only for home lighting," I replied in a matter-of-fact way.

Soon after, my wife went out on an errand and heard people in the neighborhood talking about a power failure that had begun at midnight throughout the village. Even then, we paid little attention to the matter and continued watching Master's DVD until we felt completely satisfied. By then it was 1:00 PM, and the electricity to my house was finally cut off around that time.

When it was later confirmed that there had been a power outage in my village beginning on the evening of the 10th and lasting until 6:00 PM on the 11th, I suddenly realized that we had been blessed by the grace of God and Master in being able to watch Her DVD non-stop. We then immediately prayed to God with tears of gratitude in our eyes and asked that Master soon give us initiation and lead us—Her dear, dear children—Home to be with God forever.
