[Gangneung] A large-scale Korean traditional festival, Gangneung Dano Festival was held from June 17 to 24, Golden Year 4 (2007). This festival was designated as Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Every year, about 1 million visitors go to the festival from around the nation.

Gangwon-do Province fellow initiates, in cooperation with initiates from other places, set up a booth and gave out Supreme Master Television and Alternative Living promotional messages to the visitors. We had made fans and balloons containing the Supreme Master Television logo, which the visitors found irresistible. It was amazing to see so many people holding the fans and balloons making the entire festival venue and even the Gangneung City look like a sea of Supreme Master TV logos. Additionally, initiates used their vocal chords to attract festival goers and encourage them to come and try the free vegetarian samples, and also provided flyers and sample booklets.

Apart from the promotion at the festival venue, we also carried out various other activities. From June 21 to 23, we paraded our cars with Supreme Master Television banners on them around the streets, and additionally handed out Supreme Master Television/Alternative Living flyers and fans. As Gangwon-do Province is a top summer holiday destination for Korean people - about 20 million people visit every summer - initiates continue to place Supreme Master Television banners in easy-to-see places.

On the last day of the festival, we held a video seminar at Gangneung Women's Center. In the lecture shown, Master elaborated on the Truth that we are the Buddha, our True Self is God. A gentleman was so touched that he applauded several times. Before learning the Convenient Method of meditation, he shared his opinion with others. Thirty years ago he experienced that humans and God are one. He looked at many religious scripts to prove it, but could not find the right book. He was so happy to see Master's lecture and encouraged others not to miss such a precious chance to learn Her teachings.

[Jinju] The wish of fellow initiates in the city of Jinju to have a place of their own to share Master's teachings with fellow citizens has come true! On June 24, Golden Year 4 (2007), local practitioners invited a Quan Yin messenger and brothers and sisters from Busan Center to celebrate the opening of the new Center. They meditated together and enjoyed a pleasant dinner party. Local initiates are delighted and eager to share Master's teachings more broadly based from this new Center.

With deep compassion for animals and concerned about repeated outbreaks of epidemic diseases among animals and humans, Master has offered the world a fundamental solution to the problem by personally designing a friendly but convincing leaflet entitled “Alternative Living” to remind people to choose the vegetarian diet and stop killing in order to overcome global medical crises and save our fellow beings. Master has also instructed all initiates to share this message with their brothers and sisters in every corner of the world. In response, the practitioners have initiated an all-out effort to share Her words of love.
