Thank-You Letters to the Media
By Montreal News Group (Originally in English)
[Montreal] Apart from distributing over 15,000 promotional flyers to introduce the Supreme Master Television channel, fellow initiates from the Montreal Center in Quebec, Canada also placed announcements in all local major daily newspapers such as La Presse, Le Journal de Montreal, The Montreal Gazette, 24 Heures, Metro International and Le Soleil in Quebec City, reaching millions of French and English readers. For readers from other ethnic groups, announcements were placed in local Aulacese, Chinese and Russian newspapers and magazines. Among them, Aulacese magazines Anh Nang and Thoi Moi were especially supportive; they published more announcements on their own initiative in order to bring the good news of this positive TV channel to more readers as quickly as possible. Recently, on behalf of The Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association, we visited these two magazines to present thank-you letters and gifts of appreciation to them. In response, representatives of the magazines sent their love and thanks to Supreme Master Ching Hai. Mr.Tuong Nguyen wrote an email on behalf of Anh Nang magazine, expressing appreciation for Master's concern. Mrs. Ha Thuy Huong from Thoi Moi magazine recognized Master's infinite love and generosity. She wrote in the letter, “What the Thoi Moi Weekly Newspaper and we are doing is so small compared to all the great work that You have been doing to help other countries…. The Association's and Your humanitarian work has brought much joy and happiness to all people... The Weekly Newspaper Thoi Moi and all of us would like to thank You and the Association for giving us an opportunity to learn and to contribute to the Association's activities that are very helpful to others…”
Sharing Master's Wisdom at a
City Market
By Ottawa News Group (Originally in English)
[Ottawa] Saturday, September 1, Golden Year 4 (2007) was the first day of the long Labor Day weekend. Some Ottawa Center initiates set a booth at the Byward Market, right in the core of Canada's capital, in order to share Supreme Master Ching Hai's books and DVDs. The Byward Market, a public outdoor and indoor market managed by the City of Ottawa, provides free tables and a canopy to non-profit organizations, as part of their “Awareness Program.” We displayed Master's books and DVDs, played Her video lectures on a TV screen and decorated the booth with Master's picture and our association's banner and flag. Many visitors from around the world and out of the city visited the market that day. We distributed Alternative Living flyers and the new Supreme Master Television announcement to passers-by, and to the visitors who stopped at the booth, we offered the free sample booklet as well, along with the information about our local contact people. We thank Master for offering us the chance to plant the seeds of the Ocean of Love.
