[Maryland] On August 11th, Golden Year 4 (2007), a public video seminar was held at Rockville library, located in Montgomery, the heart of the most prosperous county in Maryland. Prior to the event, our seminar flyers and Supreme Master TV/AL flyers were distributed at local crowded shopping malls and metro stations. On July 4th more flyers were given out at the various local fireworks celebration locations. The seminar announcement was also posted on www.bbschinese.com and aired on “A Journey through Aesthetic Realms” via our local cable television station. To reach more public audiences, the fellow initiates obtained a permit to distribute handouts to 21 library branches in this county.

During the seminar, all the guests watched Master's video attentively and enjoyed the live presentation of Supreme Master Television programs. They liked the tasty vegetarian food and asked many questions regarding the meditation. Following the Convenient Method session, many stayed to appreciate various Master's publications, while others continued to talk to our Association members about more of Master's teachings. The free Chinese and English News magazines and sample books were very popular as well. Those who could not attend the seminar this time due to their schedules made inquiries through email about our future events.

The Maryland fellow initiates were very encouraged by this wonderful experience. They gained much confidence and enthusiasm, and are looking forward to sponsoring more local activities in the near future.
