Association bring laughter and joy to the inmates of San Sebastian
prison. |
On
Christmas Eve, 2000, each of the thousand inmates at the San Sebastian
Prison received as Christmas gifts the daily necessities of underwear,
socks, candies, toothpaste, soap, etc. from the Supreme Master Ching
Hai International Association. Members of the Association first played
a videotape of Supreme Master Ching Hai's teachings, generating much
joy in the audience. The prison authorities expressed gratitude to the
representative of the SMCH Association, a Quan Yin messenger, and requested
that he could continue holding such humane activities in the future.
Charitable
acts have made the Supreme Master Ching Hai a spiritual Master and a
symbol of wisdom, compassion, and universal love. She is highly respected
by national leaders and politicians in many countries, and has received
many honors and commendations, including the World Peace Award and Honorary
Citizenship of the United States. On countless occasions, She has been
