On January 17, a few days before the Lunar New Year, fellow initiates
from the Tainan Center of the Supreme Master Ching Hai International
Association visited the Tainan Juvenile Center, where they were warmly
received by its Director, Mr. Huang, other officials, and the resident
students in rehabilitation.
In
a change from their regular twice a week counseling services, the Tainan
initiates prepared a special two-hour entertainment program for the
festive occasion, bringing joy and laughter to the young people, who
burst into happy singing with the visitors. The participants each received
a bag of fruit, which warmed their hearts.

Authorities
at the Juvenile Center have long affirmed the initiates' concern and
encouragement for the teenagers. Thus, at the end of the special New
Year's program, Director Huang expressed his appreciation by presenting
a flag of honor carrying the words "Benefiting Youth," and
the staff posed for a picture with the performers.
