Since gaining independence, the Ukrainian people have craved information from the outside world, but the government imposes strict limits on religious activities. So most spiritual organizations propagate their doctrines by holding small seminars. As a trial, I put up some fliers in the downtown area and the busiest places near the underground railway stations to announce a video seminar on Master's teachings. Many people who were interested in spiritual practice called on the phone to ask for details about the event.
On
the day of the seminar, I prepared some simple vegetarian snacks. Participants
were very supportive throughout the event and listened quietly. They also
learned the Convenient Method. The Ukrainians' friendly and disciplined manner
was truly impressive. After the seminar, everyone stayed behind to tidy up
the rented venue, and cordially escorted me back to my abode. Chatting and
walking on the way brought us as close as family members. Only Master's loving
power could make strangers become old friends in just a couple of hours!
A
doctor, also a chi-kong (Chinese martial arts) practitioner, praised Master's
unfathomable and comprehensive teachings, which had touched him deeply. Another
guest who had been previously dissatisfied with a similar method, found new
spiritual hope in Master's lecture video, and repeatedly asked whether he
could receive initiation from Master.

Professors and librarians from Odessa University happily receive Master's sample books and magazines, which they plan to recommend to students. |
By
nature, Ukrainians are fond of music. In Kiev, the beautiful sound of classical
music constantly reverberates in people's ears as they walk on the streets
or ride the underground railway. Such nourishment by music has made the people
graceful in demeanor and elegant in speech. This shows how music can influence
humans. When I visited the local art academy, I was warmly welcomed by the
teaching staff and students. Together they watched a brief introductory video
about Master, and arrangements were made for me to deliver a special talk
entitled "Spiritual Practice Can Initiate Boundless Creativity".
In the classroom, students and teachers together appreciated Master's Art
Creations Album, their admiration clearly discernible in their eyes as they
earnestly asked when they could appreciate Master's original paintings.
Then,
on the eve of my departure from Ukraine, I visited the National Parliament
Library of Ukraine, and was warmly received by the staff. When one of the
responsible persons, Madam Olena Pogrebna, saw the sample booklets, she liked
them so much that she immediately arranged for the relevant authorities to
deliver several hundred copies to all the major and minor libraries in Ukraine.
During
my stay in Odessa, another major Ukrainian city, I also visited Odessa University
and the major libraries there, and Master's sample books and magazines were
much welcomed.
