Haiti's Bright Future

Spirituality is widely practiced in Haiti, as it is innately a part of Haitians' African culture, and is reflected in their music, art and religious traditions. Thus, when encountering the spiritual teachings of a true, enlightened Master, the Haitian people are naturally curious and attracted to methods offering higher spiritual advancement.

My visit to Haiti to sow the spiritual seeds of affinity with Master and the Quan Yin Method was to last only one week due to local circumstances. In this short amount of time, Master arranged everything perfectly and in detail, from beginning to end. Haiti is a country in which the spoken languages are Creole and French, and since I only speak English and a little Spanish, I clearly needed help with translation.

Thanks to Master's constant care, I was never in need of either translator or guide during the busy seven days that followed. The day before departing by bus from Santo Domingo to Port-au-Prince (the capital of Haiti), I received a telephone call from a friend who informed me that a person from Haiti, whom she did not know, had showed up at her church meeting, and had mentioned to him about a Quan Yin messenger needing a guide for a trip to Haiti. He agreed to assist me on the journey and even though his English and Spanish abilities were very limited, his help was a blessing in guiding me to a safe and convenient hotel. There I met a group of six friends from India who had been staying for many weeks. They were all vegetarian, and understanding my difficulties in finding vegetarian food in Haiti, I was invited to share meals with them. They had their own kitchen and cooked chapattis and dhal (spicy Indian lentil soup) for themselves every day. How lucky I was to find a vegetarian hotel in Haiti!!
