Bliss
and Warmth Given
Heart to Heart
[Formosa]
Members of an aboriginal family living in Taian Rural Township, Miaoli
County were victims of the September 21, 1999 earthquake. Unfortunately,
legal restrictions prevented them from receiving governmental assistance,
which caused them extreme misery. The eleven members (five adults and
six children) of this household lived in two tents fitted with canvas
roofs. But these fragile little tents could not adequately shelter them
against
the wind and rain.

When
our merciful Master learned about their situation, She immediately contributed
a sum of money and instructed fellow disciples to quickly build a firm
and stable house for the family. With bliss in their hearts, fellow
initiates promptly began the construction work and accomplished their
mission very quickly , giving the household a safe and comfortable abode.
At the same time, Master's love and kindness also graced these aboriginal
inhabitants living in remote Taian Township.
