Saturday,
June 23, 2001, was a lovely summer day, as the sun warmly welcomed Master
to the Fresno Convention Center in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley
in central California. Before the lecture, thousands of fellow practitioners
and guests had gathered at the Center. Many signs bearing Master's beautiful
image had been put up around the area to notify local residents of the
rare gift of Master's presence in their city. The 4,500-seat Exhibit
Hall was packed to capacity with initiates and guests from places as
far away as Mainland China, Japan, Canada, Formosa, France, Germany,
Ireland, Sweden, Thailand, and Singapore.
As
Master arrived in an attractive, loose-fitting pink and cream-colored
outfit and auburn hair, one could feel a strong charge of energy spread
among the audience members. Addressing the highly attentive audience,
Master began by saying that She had felt a bit lonely while in Her hotel
room the previous night, but knowing She could meditate in Her room
and travel to other realms, She soon overcame Her sadness. She added
that anyone can just as easily be simultaneously present in two different
dimensions-Earth and Heaven, through the practice of meditation.
During
Her lecture, Master informed the audience that no matter what kind of
trouble we are in, She is there to help us, and that She is "a
lady of solutions". She said that sometimes She assumes different
appearances when we need help but do not know how to get into direct
contact with the Supreme Master Herself.
Master
added that we are all here on Earth humbly doing our human jobs. But
sometimes we do such a good job that we forget we are not just human,
but also very great beings.
Master
said that this world is just "a transient hotel," but in this
hotel which we call 'life' we have to work, pay every day, and even
if we pay we still have to suffer. We pay day and night, every day of
your existence until our last breath and we don't have good service.
So Master urged the audience "to find another hotel"-the Kingdom
of Heaven, and offered initiation to anyone who was ready.
