Divine Blessing in Flood Relief Mission
By Thailand News Group (Originally in Thai)
Heavy rains and floods had disrupted life in several provinces of Thailand in November 2008. When the local initiates received the word that our compassionate Master had sent a relief fund of US$20,000, they immediately left their own flood-damaged homes and set out on a 2,000-km journey to provide aid to the victims in the affected areas, bringing with them global warming flyers and emergency food supplies. Thanks to Master’s divine care, the initiates overcame difficulties on the way and arrived in time to distribute the relief items in Songkhla, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Yala and Narathiwat the following day. The municipal council in Yala arranged for the local council and the army to help the initiates with the relief work. In Reula, Narathiwat, they were met with a warm welcome and friendly assistance from Municipal Councilor Chamlong Kraidip. The team moved on quickly to another village in the afternoon, bringing a ray of hope into the lives of the suffering people as they distributed the much-needed and appreciated supplies.
