Hong
Kong Book Fair 2001
[Hong
Kong] As in previous years, local initiates
participated enthusiastically in the annual Hong Kong Book Fair held
at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center from July 18 to 23.
With Master's blessings and through lessons learned from past experience,
our preparations and arrangements for this year's Fair were a great
improvement over last year's.
During the
Fair, endless crowds of visitors kept initiates busy distributing flyers.
This year, we chose "environmental protection," a major public
concern, as the theme of our exhibit, and adapted the "Environment
Special" report from an earlier issue of the News magazine to our
flyers, which generated a warm response from visitors. After reading
the flyers, many inquired about the topic of environmental protection,
as well as Master's teachings. Some guests showed an especially keen
interest in Master's publications, and many requested more information
about the Convenient Method. Among these visitors were several who had
known about Master for a long time, and others who simply had great
admiration for Her. Fellow initiates were delighted to meet these people
who had so much affinity with our beloved Master.
